Locations

Warehouse Location Ref This is the location within the warehouse. It is important that you use a consistent system when assigning locations within the warehouse.

Name Name the location, this name can be used to help identify the location within the warehouse such as lower shelf front, or another example, isle 1 row A section 1 for location A1RA-1.

Warehouse Location Type  Select from the drop-down, these options are set by the food bank administrator and are usually pick or bulk. You can only pick orders from a PICK or FLOATING location, not bulk.  Floating means it is not stationery, it can move around the warehouse (it floats-depending on where you have space at the moment-or some food banks use this for temporary type items, things they will never have again or seasonal items).

Is On Hold Check to put the location on hold. It will not be an option for any orders until the hold is removed.
