GL Journal Approval Levels

Process Description:

Approval Levels are used to prevent any JE postings without having been verified by another user(s) at your food bank.

Select Begin Approval Process, if you're not an approving person it will display Awaiting Approval from (person) XXXX and that person is notified through the P2 Messages that there are GL's waiting to be approved. If you are an approving person and only 1 person needs to approve the transaction it will display Approved.

PROCESS:

ADD AN APPROVAL LEVEL

This is a two part process. First, determine the threshold that will require an approval. If you want to make sure ALL require an approval put the Approval Level to $1.00  Select +Add New Journal Approval Level, enter the threshold amount and click Save. 

Next you need to add the approving members. From the Active grid locate the approval level and click Edit and select the Members tab. Add all members who are allowed to approve the journal entries and click Save.
