FA Meal Connect  

 Primarius offers the ability to integrate into Feeding America's Meal Connect program. This integration works seamlessly with Feeding America, saving you time and resources. Follow the steps outlined in this article to enable the integration.

Requesting an Access Key

Before continuing, Food Banks will need to request an Access Key from Feeding America.

 

Establishing the Primarius and Meal Connect Integration

  1. From the Primarius navigation menu, select Setup > Application Interfaces. Find and select the Edit button to the left of MealConnect.

 

 

 

2. Click Configuration, find the row labeled AccessCode and click the Edit button, enter the Value, and click Save.

 

 

3. From the Primarius main navigation menu, select Setup > General Setup. Click the Automation tab.

 

 

 

 

4. Locate the two MealConnect jobs and set the Run Intervals to be either 360 or 720.

 

 

Syncing MealConnect Values

After updating the intervals, it is recommended to run the Sync MealConnect Values job manually to make sure there are no errors and that a batch is created in the Meal Connect queue.

 

1. Click Run Now to the left of the Sync MealConenct Values.

 

 

2. From the Primarius main  navigation menu, select Internal programs > FA Meal Connect.

 

 

*Any batch created by the automated job will have a file prefixed with API and the date/time it was created.
